The new pair surrendered to a South Korea’s pair, Shin Baek Choel/Too Yeon Seong. In the prestigious three set match, Baek Choel/Yeong Seong won the match with19-21, 21-14, 21-17.
It had been thrilling since the beginning of the match as chasing points drama occurred. Like most of South Korean players, Baek Choel/Yeong Seong defended very well.
"The defense was mean. We too played the best we could, but we were
lacking stamina while they were on fire,” Kido said at sebut Kido Mix
Zone, Friday (14/6).
According to Menurut Yeon Song, there were moments that they were
troubled by the experienced Indonesian duo. In addition, the fans
support really gave them a challenge.
"Our concentration was disturbed by the crowds. They were also tough
opponents to be tamed,” Yeon Seong stated.
Yeong Seong admitted he was lucky to play in Djarum Indonesia Open
Super Series Premier 2013 since he is now not in conscription in his
country for six months. So he could prepare and prove his worth in a
victory. They also expect to bring the title home from Indonesia.
For red-white team, the defeat is quite devastating since there is
only one pair remaining in men’s singles, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra
Setiawan.
"We have tried our best until our last breath. Frankly we were
disappointed since weactually had a chance to go to semifinal,” Alvent
added.
