Alvent/Kido Forced Rendra/Rian To Step Out

Alvent Yulianto Chandra/Markis Kido are through to eight final of Djarum Indonesia Open Super Series Premier (DIOSSP) 2013 aftear defeating Rendra Wijaya/Rian Sukmawan.

In the match held at Senayan stadium, Wednesday (12/6), Alvent/Kido
had to play the match in three sets against their compatriots. They
managed to overcome Rendra/Rian with 18-21, 21-14, and 21-14 in 44
minutes.

"A bit surprised, they were difficult to be tamed. We were the ones
who controlled the third game," Kido stated.

In the eighth final, they will face the winner of the match between
Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki/Hendra Aprida Gunawan and Malaysia's third seeds, Kien Keat Koo/Boon Heong Tan who are still playing as the story
is being written.

"Whoever our opponent will be in tomorrow's match, we surely won't give up. If possible, we take a lead since the beginning," Kido added.

Meanwhile, Kido's younger sister, Pia Zebadiah, who is paired with Rizki Amelia in women's doubles has also managed to go to the eighth final. The seventh seeded just overcame Heather Olver/Kate Robertshaw from England with two sets straight, 21-13 dan 21-14. In the eighth final, they will have to take another challenge from English players, Lauren Smith/Gabrielle White, who just defeated Yuriko Miki/Koharu Yonemoto with 21-12 dan 21-10.
