Indonesia failed to win a single title at BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier (BIOSSP) 2014 after Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan failed to defend their title achieved last year.

Facing Lee Yong Dae/ Soo Yeon seong, the top seeded players couldn't do much. As a result, both were defeated 15-21, 17-21 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday (22/6).

"We didn't play well, our defense was poor, on the contrary, their defense was solid, we also lost by power," Hendra said at a press conference.

Ahsan too admitted he was not in his best performance. Having tight schedules for the last on week, Ahsan said he was lacking of stamina.

"We can't even win easily in a good condition, the lack of stamina made it worse. They are incredible, it takes a lot of hard work to overcome them," stated Ahsan who has 1-5 record against the Korean pair.

Meanwhile, Yong Dae is really pleased with the victory. He hopes he can achieve best results in next tournaments, especially, World Championship, "In addition, this victory is achieved with a new partner. It is not hard to switch partner, we often practice together, so we know each other's strength and weakness," said Yong Dae.

In women's doubles category, Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei successfully won a title after her compatriot, Ma Jin/Tang Yuanting, decided to withdraw due to Ma Jin's injury.

With the result, China won two titles at BIOSSP 2014. So did Denmark which is the host of 2014 Badminton World Championship in next August followed by South Korea. Indonesia is disappointed and evaluating to improve its achievement.
