Despite of beng the favorite to win, Greysia/Apriyani who is the No. 7 seed in this tournament did not make it past Anggia/Ketut easily.
“Since we are on the same team, today’s match was our chance to show our best. For the strategy, we try to keep up our game plays,” said Greysia.
“For tomorrow’s match we certainly have to control the game. Moreover, whatever we are lacking today, have to be repaired by tomorrow and whatever good for us must be maintained,” Greysia added.
Greysia/Apriyani is still waiting for their opponent on the quarter final match that will be held on Friday (6/7). Their potential opponent is either Vivian Hoo/Yap Cheng Wen from Malaysia or the No. 2 seed from Japan, Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota, and these two will only play the match later in the evening.
“Certainly the Japanese pair is the favorite to win and there is a possibility of us seeing them tomorrow. Anyway, whoever the opponent will be, anything can happen on the arena, so we have to be better,” Apriyani added.
