Jakarta | The Taiwanese Women’s Singles player, Tai Tzu Ying secured her ticket to the quarter-final of Blibli Indonesia Open 2019 BWF World Tour Super 1000 after winning the 21-19 and 21-18 match against the Thai player, Busanan Ongbamrungphan during the game that was played in Istora Senayan, Jakarta on Thursday (18/7).

Although winning the match, Tai Tzu Ying did not perform at her usual level. During the match that lasted for 45 minutes, the World’s No. 1 Women’s Singles player was troubled by Busanan’s performance. Even during the first set, Tai Tzu Ying was left behind by 8 points until she recovered and finally won the match.

“Today I was a bit troubled, and the real problem is me, and I don’t know why. That’s why I didn’t play well. I played as if I was lacking focus. So my condition today has caused the opponent to steal many points from me,” said Tai Tzu Yung to Djarumbadminton.com after the match.

Looking at her performance today, Tai Tzu Ying claims that she is not afraid to lose the Blibli Indonesia Open 2019 BWF World Tour Super 1000 title. Accordingly, she even feels more optimistic that she can still beat all the opponents.

“I am not afraid of losing the title. Because in every match there will both a winner and a loser, and that is common. What matters is that I should continue to show my best performance during every match,” she said,

Upon the release of this report, Tai Tzu Ying still has to wait to find out whether she will face Gregoria Mariska Tunjung from Indonesia or Ratchanok Intanon from Thailand in the quarter final of Blibli Indonesia Open 2019 BWF World Tour Super 1000.
