"Indonesia Open in my warming up tournament before the Olympic. I want to enjoy the festivity of this tournament and I always love support who has been encouraging me at the tournament," Marin said to Juara.net.
The 2014 and 2015 champion has a not so good record at the last year BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2015. She was forced to surrender in the first round. This year she wants to achieve better.
"Of course, I want a better result this year. Hence I will focus in every match and do what I have to do in the court," she said.
Although reluctant to speak up about Indonesia's women's singles, Marin stated Indonesia has numerous promising talents.
"I don't want to discuss about Indonesian players. However, I just want to say that Indonesia has facilities and talents," she ended.
In the first round of the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2016, Marin will take on an opponent from qualification.
