Riky/Puspita led in the first game with 5 - 21, yet losing 21-16 in the second game. Puspita admitted that the second game was one of the toughest. Chan Yung Lung made powerful smashes aimed to her which overwhelmed her.

In the second game, they kept on chasing, but the Hongkong pair often made blunders. After changing sides, they started to keep up with the scores until there was a point where they were very close. However, it was Chan Yung Lung's turn to short of stamina. the smashes were getting weaker. To make things worse, the crowds gave more pressure on
them.

Riky Widianto/Puspita Richi Dili responded the crowds support by winning 21-15. Riky and Puspita admitted they have learned a lot from today's match. However, they are sure that today's victory is certain.

"Calmer, not in a rush. We are confident in winning this third game since we lead two zero,“ Puspita stated and agreed by Riky.

They hope in the next round they will meet Zhang Nan/ Zhao Yunlei. That will come true if the China's third seeds can beat Shin Baek Choel/Jang Ye Na from [South] Korea.

"The last encounter with Zhang Nan/ Zhao Yunlei was in Yonex Sunrise
Hong Kong Open 2012 where we lost 21-18 21-12. We want to pay back the defeat in DIOSSP 2013," Riky stated.
