Della/Rosyita's performance was quite decent in the first game as they secured a victory 21-17. However, they could not dominate the match in the following set and they lost 13-21. In the third game, the Korean pair played aggressively and finally won 21-13 over Della/Rosyita.
“We are not satisfied with the result, this is unfortunate since we were winning the first game. We were pressured in the second game while logically we should have been more confident, this is what we need to evaluate,” Rosyita said after the match.
“In the third game we were not actually troubled by our physical fitness. The opponent was in a rush in the first game, in the third game, we attacked just like we did in the first game but their defense was meaner and we failed to anticipate to,” Della said.
“In this premier level tournament, no opponent is easy, we prepared it step by step. We need to evaluate on how we can focus until the end of a match," Della ended.
Indonesian women's doubles still have the chance to send another pair to semifinal since Anggia Shitta Awanda/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istarani will fight for a ticket to semifinal against Thailand's Sapsiree Taerattanachai/Puttita Supajirakul later this evening.
