Owi/Butet were surrendered to Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna
Pedersen from Denmark. They were beaten two sets straight,15-21,
14-21.
"We tried to play well to win the match. We are delighted to win it,"
Pedersen said to the press,
According to Pedersen, playing against tough players such as Owi/Butet
who are the two time All England champions was no easy task. Luckily,
it was Butet who played well in making use of the net.
Owi's weakness, playing below par, has become the Denmark's key to
success in the match.
in the final, Fischer/Pedersen will challenge one of China's players,
Xu Chen/Ma Jin and Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei who are fighting a battle for
a ticket to final.
"We are optimistic we can win although it will be tough. but we are
confident, the Indonesian fans will show their great support to assist
help us overcoming China's players," Pedersen admitted.
With the unpleasing result, Owi/Butet fail to complete their mission,
becoming the champion at home. This ambition must also exist in DIOSSP
2014.
