Following Anthony Sinisuka Ginting's failure at the Quarter final of BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier (BIO) 2015 makes the head of athletes development and achievement of PBSI Rexy Mainaky speak up. He claimed to be happy with the squads.

Rexy stated he didn't set any particular target to his so called second tier players at BIO. He just had one goal, in the end of the year, the Men's Singles can breach world's top 50.

Not only for Anthony but also for Jonatan Christie, Ikhsan Maulana Mustofa and Firman Abdul Kholik. Surprisingly, two of his players, Anthony and Jonatan could place the world's top 30.

"This is quite a progress. I am a bit surprised. I thought we would be losing in the beginning but we can be on top 8. Simply amazing, this delights me," Rexy said.

Rexy added, although losing, Ikhsan performance was quite promising. Rexy who coached Malaysian national badminton team said the young guns can play for Indonesia at the next Thomas Cup 2016.

The four young shuttlers are only lacking of experience compared to their opponents who are way more settled. Training will always be a must as it is one of the many ways to improve the athletes performance.

"This BIO has become their previous experience. We will give them more 'flight hours'. We will arrange schedule after Sea Games," he explained.

"As for the Olympic, they have chances despite the tough odd. We can carry on this process. Of the four players, we at least can send one player to perform," he concluded.
