That means, the chance of becoming the champ for Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir is wide open.
"Due to the injury, Saralee can't perform well in the last Thailand Open," Stated Sompol Kookasemkit,
The Manager of the team, Tuesday (11/6).
Currently, Saralee will have to go through the recovery predicted to
take at least two weeks. She is still unsure about her participation
in the next Singapura Open next week.
"We have talked to the official about Saralee's condition. If able,
she will play, if not, we will not force her to," Kookasemkit
explained.
For the Thailand team, this is a devestating news. That's because
Saralee/Sudket are almost certaim that they are unable to defend their
title as in Djarum Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2012.
With the absence of Saralee/Sudket, the chance of Indonesian seeded
mixed pair to become the champion is big. That also allows
Tontowi/Liliyana's obsession to be the champion at home is very close.
Luckily, Saralee does not have to pay US$ 5,000 fine due to her
resignation. It's because she had warned the official and the
organizer about her injury.
In addition, the medical examination and her presence at Senayan
stadium prove that the injury is beyond her intention.
