The world's number one women's singles from Taiwan, Tai Tzu Ying, was finally stunned by Thai''s Nitchaon Jindapol in the quarter final of BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2017 held at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) of Friday night, (16/6).

Tai who has never been defeated since 2016 Hong Kong Open said her poor performance and exhaustment are the culprits for her defeat.

I didn't play well this time, I was also not at my best condition. I have been playing poorly these couple of days, I was pretty exhausted in this match,” she said after the match.

When asked about her expectation pressure as the first seeded in the tournament contesting USD 1.000.000 and as the unbeatable the whole year, Tai Tzu Ying said those didn't affect anything.

There's no such pressure. I lost the match not because of the unbeatable pressure. The defeat was due to my own errors," she ended.
