The dinner is hosted with famous VJ's, Daniel Mananta and Nirina Zubir. They made the gala dinner festive.

The athletes invited were served and introduced to Batik. Some of them even tried to design Batik at Sultan Ballroom's courtyard which has been provided for a media introducing Batik.

Some of the invitations also wore the traditional clothing from Indonesia such as Li Xuerui from China, Ratchanok Inthanon and Maneepong Jongjit from Thailand, Hans Kristian Vittinghus and Christinna Pedersen from Denmark as well as several Indonesian players such as Melati Daeva Oktaviantia and Edi Subaktiar.

The event began with a West Javanese traditional dance, Jaipong, performed by Sandrina - the winner of Indonesian reality show, Indonesia Mencari Bakat. A doorprize also added the festivity of the dinner.
