Jonathan Christie becomes the only Indonesian men's singles that survives. In the second round, Jonatan will challenge China's Chen Long.
In the men's doubles sector, there are four representatives who qualify for the second round. They are Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Hendra Aprida Gunawan / Markis Kido, Hendra Setiawan/Tan Boon Heong (Indonesia/Malaysia).
In the women's singles sector, two Red and White representatives will fight in the second round. It is Fitriani who will challenge the fifth seed, Sung Ji Hyun, from Korea. It is Gregoria Mariska who will challenge the Taiwanese first seed Tai Tzu Ying.
In the women's doubles sector, three Pelatnas (national training center) mainstays; Greysia Polii/Apriani Rahayu, Della Destiara Haris/Rosyita Eka Putri Sari, Anggia Shitta Awanda/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istarani, and non Pelatnas pair, Dian Fitriani/Nadya Melati will compete tickets to the second round tomorrow.
The mixed doubles sector sends the most representatives into the second round. There are four Pelatnas mainstays, Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir, Alfian Eko Prasetya/Annisa Saufika, Hafiz Faisal/Shela Devi Aulia, Fachryza Abimanyu/Flower Fitriani Romadhini and non-pairs Pelatnas. Pairs Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini.
