Not only the home players but also all players from around the world to be received the fans hail. Carolina Marin for example, the 2014 Champion from Spain said that BIO is one of her favourites.
“BIO is my favourite tournament, I've always been waiting this tournament. I love the supporters, they are amazing and there are many of them," Marin said who won the All England 2015 title.
“I hope I can play well at BIO, my objective is to win a title," she added.
Beside Marin, Denmark Mixed Doubles Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen previously denoted the same love.
“We like the Indonesian badminton fans, we like to play at this tournament, we just love being in Indonesia!," Pedersen said.
“We are not able to win a title at BIO 2014 without the crowd support, we are thankful to Indonesian supporters," Fischer.
The organizing committee effort to make this tournament become a sportainment event deserves a recognition. The visitors are not only to be presented with top matches but also various educating entertainment like badminton games, mini hall of fame, and many others.
This year BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier offers US$800,000 prize money, or Rp 10 billion. The prize money is the highest compared to similar tournaments in Denmark, China, Malaysia, and England. BIO 2015 also promises thrilling matches performed by top world ranking players. The players in the world's top ten are obliged to participate in the Superseries Premier level tournament on June 2-7 2015 at Senayan indoor sporting arena.
