One of the unique ways that these supporters show their support is through face painting, or to paint their face with the flags. At the corner of Gate 09 Istora Senayan, there are a lot of people who are lining up to have their face painted.

The supporters who want to have their face painted can visit the booth that is located in front of Gate 09. The face painting facility in Indonesia Open 2019 is free of charge.

“It’s free. There are face painting booths in every entrance to the stands. Whoever who want to draw flags or anything else on their face can come. This is free, provided by the organizers,” said Riki, one of the painters.

Riki’s technique in drawing flags is very exciting, especially in drawing flags that have complicated and difficult shapes. According to Riki, he only has to use smaller brush to draw flags with complicated design, such as the Malaysian or South Korean flag.
